The party spend the evening and following day resting and recouperating and looting the palace for items of worth. Below and around them the town of Red Larch falls into anarchy, the military overthrown.

The parties pillaging gains them some 7000GP worth of artwork and three items of magical note:

A wand of Demon Summoning with 2 charges left which summons a random demon as per a monster summoning spell.
A Ring of the Ram with 35 charges left
An Iron Flask, with some creature magically trapped in it.

A blinded and deafened Zaqawi lies unconscious in the hall. Although they have their target, it is as yet unclear how the party will question him as through Saamech' magicks he can no longer see or hear, and further how they will carry the fat bastard away through the carnage below.

Questions also remain as to exactly what their demonic encounter means for their future and whether the creatures of the abyss will crawl back to drag them screaming into the beyond........

Limnoch and Saamech arrive back in the hall where the wounded warriors are resting, fresh from further pillage, but with little to show for it now that fire and looters have consumed much of any value that is left in the palace below.

Saamech drops a couple of rolled up, cut out of their frame paintings
onto the loot pile, of which much of it now contains various vases,
bronze busts, sets of silver cutlery.

'I think we are looking at a wagon out of here, if we are to be properly paid for our efforts...'

'As to the Art, my humble suggestion is that as these things seem to
mainly concern us mages that myself and Limnoch take care of them for
now, with an understanding that we will keep quiet the next time we
come into a cache of magical weapons, armour or other handy bits and
pieces...'

'Perhaps we can compensate though, myself and the necromancer take only a grand each out of the pile. That should leave five large for the three martial experts.'

'If this is agreed, my opening bid Limmie is for the Flask and Wand.
The Ram for yourself. I like the Ring, and its certainly the most
useful, but Im seduced by the randomness of the possibilities of the
other items...'

Kota shuffles over, his already stooped gait made worse by a horrific rend in his leg, a night sleeping on a stone floor and a huge amount of dried blood.

He spits a gob of bloody phlegm onto the floor and holds up the ring to the sunlight now streaming through the window.

'Don't look like much do it? But ensorcelled ya say? If it does what ya said it will I'd take it gladly. Not got a single bit o' magick on me, you lot got tons, and now you taking two fer yerself Saamech? Well I don't much care for magely doings, you take 'em if ya want, if no-one else cares, but I'll take the ring. Seems I bled more than any in it's gettin'.

"Well, Sammy." Begins Limnoch, in good natured mockery of 'Limmie'."The ring is useful, but Kota is welcome enough to it, I will take a greater share of gold. I feel it might be time to invest in some spell scrolls, yes? Yes. My time to expand my repertoire somewhat and that requires coin. As for the wand, keep it with my blessing. The flask, however, is another matter yes? Yes I think so. The intrinsic value of such an item tempts me to suggest selling it, if a buyer can be found. Alternatively, I have no problem with you holding it, on the undertstanding it is considered as property of our group, rather than individually."

Limnoch's eyes slide over to glance towards Kota, "As for magic items, General, I see you are an armourer. I am an enchanter of armours. Perhaps we can come to some arrangement, I shall soon be requiring the production of armour from some highly specialised materials, materials which most common men would perhaps hesitate to work with yes? Yes, I think they would shrink from it. You I believe have no such squeamishness. Yes, I think we might be able to work together quite well."

"Indeed, that goes for any of you, I am quite capable of enchanting weapons and armours and pleased to give highly discounted rates to all my companions for such work."

Sammech nods slowly.

'My most sincere apologies, my dear blind general, it had not occured to me that you may desire it. Well, if Limnoch is happy to let it go to you I see no problem with the plan. Furthermore, I agree the flask probably needs further evaluation before going anywhere in particular. Ill mind it, but concede it remains all of our property.'

'I suppose Kota and myself are a thousand each then, with the remainder to the rest of ye? Like I said though, we should give some consideration to the transport of all this stuff. I say we look into getting either some horses or a cart.... It would greatly pain me to see such treasures left behind.'

'And the matter of the blind and deaf fat fucker over there... We'll need a healers services...'

Saamech strolls over to the slumped and beaten form, and lays in a hefty kick for good measure.

"Speaking of which..." Begins Limnoch. "...this Mort fellow yes? Yes, what is it about him which interests you all so much, hmm? I know he is something to do with the red gloves, yes? Yes I know that, but you are so preoccupied with him. What is he to you?"

Arman shifts lightly through the piles of loot, glancing over his shoulder occasionally at the group, "The division is fine, of course with the understanding that when more martial loot comes upon us, myself and Chell dip first.." he hisses a little, gurgling for a moment, before spitting on the floor.

"Of course, we need to sell all of this before we know exactly how much people are going to recieve.. but two shares to myself, Chell and Limnoch and one share for Saamech and Kota should suffice".

"I will get some horses.." he then says standing and turning away from the loot, "When you're done with... that fool, let me know so I can behead him" he states before looking to Limnoch.

"As for Mort, I want to kill him, for the very same reasons I wish to kill Abu Musab here, God-King Suepheus has decreed that both of their lives are void for crimes against Him and His subjects.."

Arman pauses, looking at Abu Musab for a moment, before shrugging slightly, "..... although I am not sure if I should care anymore.....". he hisses with a furrowed brow to the lame fat arab.

Kota grins and buffs the ring on his cloak before sticking it in his pocket. 'Thanks ya kindly gents, thanks indeed. Funny you should say that Limnoch, was gonna ask if ya could do anyfin for me sword as it happens, maybe even me armour too, and in return yeah I'll craft ya some armour, even if it is outta somethin abit less ordinary. Crafted some armour outta fear itself once!, ha ha! Wasn't the most of effective materials mind.

Same goes for yerselves too'
, he gestures to the group at large, ' any o' yous wants weapons and armours made you gimme a shout'.
