Vampire - Stef's PC
Name and ethnic background are fluid until the final start location of the campaign are determined, but the character itself will remain essentially unchanged.
HI DOCTOR NICK!!!
Yes indeed, you are sick? Your humours perhaps are out of balance? A salve for those pustulent sores on the skin, is it? Perhaps some poppy juice to help you sleep? A course of leeches? Perhaps you need to be bled, according to the very latest in medical advances.
Whatever your ailment is, my character can help. With a fully stocked apothecary and surgery in the better part of town, he services the higher quality client, who can actually afford to pay for decent medical treatment.
What's that sir? You need your daughter numb and compliant for her upcoming nuptials to the reknowned flatulent Lord Edward "Old & ugly but powerful" Grunthos. Well, congratulations Sir, a fine alliance of two fine families. Yes, slip a few drops of this into her drink before the ceremony and she'll behave just fine.
Oh... you again. No, I'm sorry, your credit has run dry. Yes, I know it hurts. Yes, I understand you need it like nothing else. Well now, perhaps some other way to earn your dose... take the pain away... until the next time you need it...

Re: Vampire - Stef's PC
I will discuss most of this with you in private via Icq. But I believe the starting location to be western europe at current.
Likely either France or Italy, depending on what I can drum up with final PC drafts.
Venice however is also a possible, I believe we've discussed Venice anyway at length.
I'll let you know more-so when Zert confirms or denies his PC, Mike picks from between his two (or not!) and Joe confirms his characters nationality.

Re: Vampire - Stef's PC
vote me in for early renaisaance italy btw,
its interesting to me as its where europe finally started to get its shit together again after 800 years of getting fucked over, its strikes also as a great time for vampire type shit with all the cultural rebirth and foriegn trade etc.
hmmm, nice.

Location : Just behind you......
Re: Vampire - Stef's PC
Venice would definitely be an interesting place. Interesting politics, as in theory it's part of the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium) but in practice is an independent city state (which spits on the rule of Constantinople).
It's fairly cosmopolitan and well connected for trade, so becomes a far more interesting place (IMHO) than France.

Yup!
Geographical location is only for the starting of the game anyway. I'm not focusing too much on single cities or nations. In 900 odd years you can travel quite a fucking distant if ya put ya mind to it like =)
