D&D - Sword Coast - Loot Distribution
OK so are we assuming the PCs have been in the abbey for a year? More?
Everyone has ample time to sort out any enchanted items they want in any case.
The Magical items have all been identified, as mentioned we need whoever was DMing and introduced the items to fill us in on what they want. If they've not been filled in by say midnight tonight (29/11 GMT) I might go ahead and make up some stuff myself so we don;t have to worry about it before the next sesh.
The list of cash and items is (I'm assuming any non magical items have been converted into coinage):
10400GP (that's based on Sorschas left over cash, the 900GP mentioned in Iains forum post and a a middle figure from the same post of Wolfs estimate of a value of 'fourteen thousand gold worth of gear, probably sellable at about six or seven thousand depending on how negotiations go'
Healing potion (3d8+6)
Scroll (divine)- Doom, Searing Light, Cure Critical Wounds, Lesser Planar Ally, Raise Dead.
3 vials of a thick black substance - Likely a poison of some kind.
A bone and leather skullcap - Radiates magic.
A long silver flute - Radiates magic.
A scroll tube - Arcane scrolls.
Magical blindfold
Magical sledgehammer
Magical knife (with some kind of shadow magic as I recall).

As a new member of the group I'm not sure how much claim the PCs will allow Kota to the moneys or items, which were all gained before he arrived.
However, he would be after the blindfold assuming it's not something that a spellcaster would benefit form more and maybe the healing potion.
In return Kota offers to create any weapons and armour the party want for enchanting or general use. He has skills in both craft weapons and armour and engraving and claims to be able to produce works of genius out of 'Angels Tears. But maybe we'll use steel for you guys, eh?'
Additionally, perhaps in return for crafting any weapons/armour he'd likely approach limnoch to see if a deal can be struck to get his own (newly crafted) armour enchanted.

Ooops, sorry dude I trampled a bit on you there, ignore the second post from me.
I reckon we hash it out in openR, all we need here is for the DM's in question to say what the items are.

No worries, the more we can sort out beforehand the more time we have for actually playing though, so if people can get some sorted here before sunday that'd be sweet.

10400GP - No idea. Maybe right.
Healing potion (3d8+6)
Scroll (divine)- Doom, Searing Light, Cure Critical Wounds, Lesser Planar Ally, Raise Dead.
3 vials of a thick black substance - This has all mysteriously vanished.
Bone and Leather Skullcap of Magical Insight - Grants an additional 0, 1st and 2nd level spell slot. Arcane and Divine. +4 bonus to spellcraft checks to determine casted spells.
Silver Flute of Terror - Requires profiency with Flutes. When played can activate Cause Fear 3/day, Scare 1/day, Phantasmal Killer 1/week as a 9th level caster.
Arcane scrolls. - Limnoch/Saamech have these and they know what they are.
Zert will need to update below, but it's all correct.
Magical blindfold - Grants Deathwatch, but makes user take penalties for sight-based stuff
Magical sledgehammer - Undead Bane.
Magical knife - Indestructable. Always looks blood stained and rusty.

Re: D&D - Sword Coast - Loot Distribution
The magic items I handed out during my sessions are:
St. Olem's Blindfold: grants Deathwatch, but causes the wearer to suffer all penalties attributed to blindness while wearing it.
Sledge of Righteousness: functions as a maul of undead bane.
Traitor's Friend: a knife that is out of sync with time. Its condition never changes: is always rusty, filthy, and always has a dark bloodstain on it. It is also functionally indestructable. Gives the user +2 Str and Dex for 4 rounds when used successfully to kill a victim via stabbing them to back.

Re: D&D - Sword Coast - Loot Distribution
im sure i said it at the time but that spellbook contains two spells, both beyond your abilities. i guess you have had time to work out roughly what they do so...
the first is a 6th level spell called animate dragon.
the other concerns creating a death tyrant, its higher level but you know no more than that.

Re: D&D - Sword Coast - Loot Distribution
Chaps can we get some kinda discussion going as to who's gonna get what and what people wanna do in their time off? - I'd prefer to get as much game in as poss this eve rather than sorting all that out.
I've posted for Kota, think I'll amend to say he has no interest in the blindfold.
He's also gonna create Masterwork Half Plate and a masterwork bastard sword, probably engraved with images of hell
