The assault on the monestary took time, and not a little blood from the protagonists. Thankfully, you all hung around nicely at the back for the most part, and when it came to be time to distribute the spoils of the ruined abbey, you were fresh enough to quickly dispatch the leadership of the mercenaries.

That left you masters of a mostly gutted abbey, set into the mountainside, in the winter of 1372DR.

Attention quickly moved to getting rid of your loot, and identifing what art had been siezed, and over the winter and spring everything was either sold, converted to cash, or divvied up within the party. The monestary proved to be a useful hide out, while ostensibly ruined and blackened from the outside, enough remained of the creature comforts inside for anyone who wished to make a room for themselves quite nicely habitable.

The group agreed to serve their own purposes for a while, allow the heat to die down some, and catch up on some other projects. It is now the new year of 1374, the snow and ice is beginning to thaw, and evil men are getting restless once again...

DMing notes:

All items have been identified at the cost of 150gp each. The group got a good deal on a job lot of stolen pearls, and have 6 left.

All non cash goods are sold for 90% of their value.

The group retain the services of 8 bandits who currently operate out of the woods and monestary.

Finally, if people wanna post to this explaining what their characters have been upto that would be cool.

Kota busies himself with journeys between the town of Romford a few days travel to the west where Arman and Saamech originally encountered him, and in restoring the abbeys neglected forge, aiming to get it 'hotter'n the fires of hell', as he says.

Other than that he spends his time drinking and venturing out into the woods for a spot of 'huntin'.

As the months tick by the sounds of steel hammering steel begin to echo through the halls and armour and weapons begin to appear stacked against the walls or cooling in barrels of water.

The pieces are finely engraved with somewhat disturbing images of devils and demons which, whilst skillfully done, prevent the items being described as 'beautiful', except perhaps by those touched by madness, which is handy when you consider his company.

Limnoch has busied himself with settling in, converting an area of the abbey for use as a lab come mortuary area along with a small shrine to Velsharoon. This area has been of great use in the enchantment of Arman's armour.

The recently deceased dragon has had its bones carefully collected up and Limnoch has them stored.. "for later" he says cryptically, but little imagination is required to get the idea he has designs on animating them at some point in the future.

As ever he has continued to dedicate himself to the work of Velsharoon and has been rewarded with new power to create undead above and beyond his wizardly abilities.
