Random Notes:
- Yeeeah, first one to put up a PC... even though this is a rough draft, but still.
- To give a rough overview of my PC, she's a priestess of Malar, is in touch with her inner savage, works as a bounty hunter, and is a bit nutters.
- I'd like to have a trained dog companion (hence the animal handling ranks).
- It would make way more sense, concept-wise, for her cleric turning to apply to animals instead of undead... if that's acceptable?
- Would it bother anyone to make a houserule that treats greatclubs as simple instead of martial weapons? (Edit: not an issue, have martial weapons due to barb levels)

Re: Sword Coast - Chell Five-Wounds
Your skill points are wrongers d00d.
[(2+1)x4+6] = 18. I think you missed the bonus point for being human.
Trained dog is no issue for me, you control it in combat as normal. I have no problem with turning animals instead of undead (not controlling at all though).
.. and I don't care about the great club thing either. They're pretty shit to be honest. Even if we don't anyway, I don't mind you using a greatclub.
Picture?

Tell you what though. It's argueable that you can still use scroll, literate or not, if you have spellcraft/read magic. Because scrolls aren't written in any common tongue.
Otherwise PCs wouldn't be able to use foreign scrolls and any scrolls of languages they don't understand.
To use a scroll, you have to cast read magic.

Re: Sword Coast - Chell Five-Wounds
It's an interesting one. Read Magic deciphers a magical inscription allowing the script to be read. Indeed once deciphered, one can always read that particular document. I presume the magic also renders the words in a language compatible with the caster.
However, if one can't read in the first place, how does one read even a deciphered document?
Would comprehend languages spell allow an illiterate character to read a book?

Re: Sword Coast - Chell Five-Wounds
I never even thought about scrolls. But I don' especially care about 'em either. As you can see, what with the lack of spellcraft ranks or anything like that, I ain't going for some cleric that uses that much magic.
